Warner Cabin Fever Reliever Community Fun Day

ALL DAY:

  • 10 am to 4 pm NH Telephone museum and Firefighters. Museum, $1 off admission.
  • 10 am to 4 pm Free Coffee Tasting at Runner Stone Market & Cafe (was Clovis Moon)
  • 10 am to 3 pm Wellness Open House at Brookside building, 51 E. Main Street:
    • Therapeutique (free 5 minute massage and aromatherapy information)
    • Free winter skin care and Satin Hands demonstrations by Carolyn Beverly (Mary Kay products)
    • Dionne Family Chiropractic
    • Warner Fall Foliage Festival Office: "See, Say and Signup" open house.

INDOORS, Morning:

  • 10 am Library Story Time
  • 11 am Library Skit by Book Nook Theatre group re-enacting the 1st Library card issued.
  • 9 - 2 pm Refreshments and Library history trivia/ tours until 2 pm

OUTDOORS, Morning:

  • 10 am X-Country Ski (or hike if no snow); Meet /Park on Bartlett Loop (off Pumpkin Hill Road). Led by David Karrick, approximately 1.5 hrs. watch for weather updates
  • WAGON RIDES 11 am . 2 pm (free) between event locations on Main Street, Sponsored by Warner Parks and Recreation Dept. Wagon stops will be: Runner Stone Cafe, Library, Telephone Museum, Church (lunch, games), Brookside, The Maples)
  • FOOD! 11:30 - 1 pm Hot buffet style meal at United Church of Warner hosted by Warner Time Bank / Warner Connects . pay by donation (Soups, Chili, Mac and Cheese, etc)

INDOORS, Afternoon:

  • 1 - 3 pm Free Afternoon Tea / Open House at The Maples at Warner Bed and Breakfast, 69 E. Main Street. (includes a Fairy House and Leprechaun House for kids provided by Kearsarge Conservatory for the Performing Arts)
  • 1 - 4 PM Indoor games for all ages: Table games at the United Church of Waner Parish House, maybe lively games (such as Wii) at the Church Fellowship Hall.
  • Followed by more hot food (leftovers!) if any

OUTDOORS, Afternoon:

  • 1 pm Guided Family Snowshoeing (or hiking if no snow), on Nature Trail at Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum, 18 Highlawn Rd (off Kearsarge Mtn. Rd). Children.s snowshoes available to borrow. Followed by Hot Drinks and a peek at some antique Native American snowshoes, indoors.

Suggested Parking:

  • Behind Brookside building, behind Church, and across street behind Post Office
  • Depot Street and NH Telephone Museum (For museum and Library)
  • Along Main Street near NH Telephone Museum.
  • Simonds School parking also available.
  • Bartlett Loop for X-county ski/ hike, Indian Museum for Snowshoeing
